Group B : Up to two persons are travelling

Group C : More than two persons are travelling, or journey length is in excess of 300km

Group D+ : Where the hirer is conveying customers or VIPs (to be authorised by a Company Director). Where it is more cost effective to hire a larger vehicle due to the number of travellers (eg, a “people carrier”). Exceptions are allowed where the traveller has physical or medical requirements.

Group G & H (Estate vehicles): Only when transporting small work related equipment

When renting please note the below:

To avoid any unnecessary costs, we ask that you check your rental vehicle for damage against that which appears on the Vehicle Condition Report (VCR).

If booking a delivery or collection please ensure you (or a nominated person) are present at both delivery and collection of the vehicle as per Thales policy.

If taking your rental car overseas from the UK you'll need to inform the Avis rental station who will prepare the documents for you. You will also be charged for Continental Cover (listed as Breakdown Cover/Get Home Package) this is not an optional insurance.

Note : Collection times cannot been guaranteed for a specific time frame due to resource constraints. If this is an issue for a home collection then please request a collection arranged for a Thales office site.
